SL Thumb Drive Deployment

Instructions
  1. Install Second Life on a PC then copy application folder to thumb drive.
  2. Copy RunSL.bat file to thumb drive.
  3. Run RunSL.bat file to launch Second Life

Thoughts
  • Could purchase thumb drives to sell to students (via library?)
  • Have all files on Help Desk computer so they can be loaded to student thumb drives.
  • This will not solve video driver issues, but should be able to set up test box in info commons to notify IS if there is a driver update.
  • When instructor computers on first floor of 28 are upgraded then we will get surplus cards for quiet study room computers.
